There’s an interview<\/a> of me in the July edition<\/a> of the BioLogos newsletter<\/a>.<\/p>\n Also, I’ve been going back and forth about whether to mention this, but as long as I’m going on about myself<\/a>, it turns out that I won the Bergmann-Wheeler thesis prize<\/a> which was awarded at the GR20<\/a> conference in Warsaw<\/a>.\u00a0 The prize was sponsored by the journal Classical and Quantum Gravity<\/a>, which I have sometimes published in, although all of my articles are also freely available on the arXiv<\/a>, of course.\u00a0 The prize was awarded for my proof<\/a> of the Generalized Second Law<\/a> for black holes.\u00a0 In light of all the other excellent work out there, I feel deeply honored be recongnized in this way.<\/p>\n I have also added St. Martin LaBar of Sun and Shield<\/a> to my blog roll.\u00a0 Not only does he blog about both scientific and theological topics, he also is a role model in that he always takes a moderate and gentle tone, even with commenters who disagree with him.\u00a0 His consistent tone of encouragement is commendable.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" There’s an interview of me in the July edition of the BioLogos newsletter.
